General Counseling Information
and Fees
Counseling sessions are 50 minutes in duration and cost $165. We do not accept insurance. If cost is a prohibiting factor to receiving counseling then please reach out. We are able to lower our price as needed. If we are not able to help then we may be able to provide you with a referral.
What is Christian Counseling?
Christian counseling is the process of connecting God, His design, the Bible, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all experiences of life, especially intimate relationships.
Who needs marriage counseling?
If you are newly married or have many years under your belt, we can help. We help couples of all ages, young and old. Marriage counseling for some may be similar to a tune-up while others may need help in crisis.
How do we schedule?
Scheduling is easy. Click the "Schedule" button found throughout our website. This process takes a couple of minutes. If you are uncomfortable with scheduling online you may also call our office at 682-593-9226.
Does Cowtown provide marriage counseling for spouses that are separated?
Cowtown does provide marriage counseling for spouses, even if they are separated. Each spouse may also meet individually with the couples therapist.
What are your specialties?
We specialize in working with couples who struggle with communication, conflict, in-law issues, differing cultural background, intimacy concerns, and relational recovery.
Do both spouses need to come to counseling?
Ideally we would love for both spouses to be present. We do at times split spouses up, one session for one and one session for the other. This will be determined by your counselor and the couple's ability to work with and engage each other during session.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
We do have a cancellation policy. All appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full counseling fee. We do our best to provide email and text reminders so you do not forget.
Do you give couples homework?
Cowtown has tested and now created an 8-session marriage counseling series with mulitple homework handouts. Check out our short video on the Helper Lover series.
